Pittsburgh Police say two armed men robbed a Bloomfield bar Thursday morning, making off with an unknown amount of cash.

Officers were called to the scene around 10 a.m. at the 600 block of South Millvale Avenue, according to a statement from Pittsburgh Public Safety.

The only bar in that area is Sonny’s Tavern, located near the South Millvale Avenue Bridge.

The statement said the men forced entry into the bar and demanded money. One victim was assaulted during the incident, suffering minor injuries, according to the statement.

Violent Crime Unit detectives are leading the investigation. The statement said officers are reviewing surveillance footage from the area.
