Pittsburgh police investigate East Liberty shooting
One man was shot in the leg in Pittsburgh’s East Liberty neighborhood Thursday night, according to the city Department of Public Safety.
The city’s Shotspotter audio gunshot detection system alerted officers of shots fired near 700 N. Highland Ave. just before 11:30 p.m.
Officers found the victim near the intersection of Broad Street and Larimer Avenue.
He was conscious and in stable condition when he was taken to the hospital, according to the department.
Police are investigating.
