Pittsburgh police are investigating reports of a shooting during a block party in the Hill District over the weekend.

Up to 40 shots were fired, according to police.

Police, members of the SWAT team and paramedics were called to the area of Perry Street and Wylie Avenue for reports of an active shooter around midnight Saturday.

When they arrived, they found between 300 to 500 people leaving a block party being held in that area. Investigators took one man into custody, but he has since been questioned and released, police said. Investigators searched the area, but found no victims.

A man with a gunshot wound to his arm later arrived at a local hospital early Sunday morning, and said he had been shot in the Hill District.
