Pittsburgh police looking for vehicle thought to be involved in Knoxville shooting

Pittsburgh police are looking for a car seen fleeing a shooting on Reifert Street in Knoxville around noon Saturday.

A police spokesman said police responded to ShotSpotter alert for the 300 block of Reifert Street at about 12:05 p.m.

When Zone 3 officers arrived, they were alerted to a male who had been shot in the upper body.

Medics transported him to a local hospital in stable condition.

Police are looking for a gray vehicle that they say was seen fleeing the area.

There where no other injuries reported. City detectives processed the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
