Teen victim identified in fatal Bon Air shooting
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner has identified the 18-year-old who died after being shot Wednesday evening in Pittsburgh’s Bon Air neighborhood.
Teron Williams of Pittsburgh died as a result of his injuries, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office.
Police said he was found with a gunshot wound to his back in the area of Onyx Way and Reifert Street, near Roll Way.
Police said they provided first aid to the victim, who was transported in critical condition to UPMC Mercy, where he later died at 8:27 p.m..
No arrests had been made as of Thursday morning and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
