Pittsburgh police are investigating a shooting that left one dead and two wounded on Monday, May 9, 2022, along East Warrington Avenue in the city’s Allentown neighborhood.

A Pittsburgh teen has died in a shooting that wounded two other people Monday evening in Pittsburgh’s Allentown neighborhood, according to authorities.

Isaiah Dennis Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene in the 700 block of East Warrington Avenue, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Two others were taken by ambulance for hospital treatment, a Pittsburgh Public Safety spokeswoman said.

An 18-year-old man was in critical, but stable, condition with gunshot wounds to the upper body, the spokeswoman said. A woman was grazed in the leg and was in stable condition.

The shooting was reported at about 6:15 p.m., according to an Allegheny County 911 dispatch supervisor. Police responded to a Shotspotter alert for multiple rounds fired.

Violent Crimes Unit detectives are heading the investigation.
