Assault, drug cases among those recently handled in Judge Zucco’s Plum court

Plum District Court Judge Linda Zucco handled these cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. Charges were filed by Plum police unless otherwise noted.

Held for court

• Paul McClain, 39, of Strabane on charges of false imprisonment, aggravated assault, unlawful restraint, two counts of simple assault and two counts of strangulation. Charges were filed Aug. 21.

Waived preliminary hearings

• Victoria Cacese, 22, of Bradenton, Fla., on charges of strangulation, endangering the welfare of children, recklessly endangering another person and resisting arrest. Charges were filed July 9.

• Jonathan Kaufmann, 51, of University Heights, Ohio on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license, turning movements and required signals, improper sunscreening and speeding in an active work zone. State police filed the charges Jan. 11.

• Vincent Roberto, 43, of Plum on charges of possession of firearm with altered manufacturer number, possession with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession of controlled substances. Swissvale police filed the charges Sept. 11.
