Oakmont Carnegie Library is offering family-oriented programs on weekdays, with no registration necessary.

STEAM After School Program is from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursdays. Elementary-age children and their families can stop by the library and make a craft. Themes are STEAM Rocket Pulleys, March 10; Lucky Leprechaun Binoculars, March 17; DIY STEAM Planes and Gliders, March 24; and Create Your Own Rainstick, March 31.

Family Game Days are from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays in the Children’s Department. A variety of board games will be available to play. Learn a new one, or feel free to bring your own. There will be no game day on March 22.

Free Grab & Go Craft Bags are available in the library lobby starting at 10 a.m. Wednesdays, while supplies last, for children ages 3 to 7.

Correspondingly themed virtual stories are read each week by the children’s librarian on YouTube: Storytime with Dudley & Miss Karen. Themes are St. Patrick’s Day, March 16; Bugs, March 23; and Spring! on March 30.

Masks required for everyone over age 2 at Oakmont Carnegie Library, 700 Allegheny River Blvd. For more information, visit oakmontlibrary.org.
