• The Oaks Theater hosts Jay & Silent Bob Reboot Roadshow with Jason & Kevin 3 p.m. Wednesday at 310 Allegheny River Blvd.
Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith will be in the borough for a special question and answer event and show their latest and greatest motion picture. Tickets to the 18 and older show are $50.
Doors open at 2 p.m. Their 7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. shows are sold out.

• Oakmont resident Mary Elizabeth Franco is Oakmont Carnegie Library’s artist of the month.
Her hand-crafted canvas collectible bags, seasonal pieces, paintings and more will be on display and available for purchase at the library, 700 Allegheny River Blvd.
• Oakmont Carnegie Library hosts Gentle Yoga with instructor Cora Fetchko 10:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The program is suitable for all levels and no registration is necessary.
• Meditation with a Monk is set for 6-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Oakmont library. Join the monks from Natrona Height’s Pittsburgh Buddhist Center for an hour of relaxing meditation. The program is offered every Tuesday evening.

• Plum Community Library hosts Paws to Read, a special story time with animal friends from Westmoreland Obedience Training Club, 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at 445 Center-New Texas Road.
It is open to students in grades first through sixth. Registration is required.
• Circle of Stitchers will meet at the Plum library from 10 a.m. to noon and from 6-8 p.m. Thursday. Knitters, crocheters and stitchers of every kind are invited to meet and share their techniques and resources.
