Church hosts Christmas bazaar

Oakmont Presbyterian Church will host its annual Christmas bazaar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 2.

Featured will be a luncheon, bake sale, holiday crafts and attic treasures.

Council meeting change

Plum Borough Council will meet Dec. 13, a Wednesday, instead of its regularly scheduled second Monday of each month.

The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m., as opposed to the usual 7. Public comment is welcome for those who sign up to address council

Christmas show at Oaks

“Sounds of Christmas” featuring the Latshaw Pops Orchestra is scheduled for 7 p.m. Nov. 25 at the Oaks Theater, 310 Allegheny River Blvd., Oakmont.

At more than 30 years, the Latshaw Pops Orchestra stages the longest-running Christmas show in the area. The variety show features a 22-piece orchestra conducted by Maestro Bruce Lauffer, talented singers, dancers and a master of ceremonies.
