Plum’s annual Fall Fest is scheduled for noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 3 at Plum Creek Park across from the borough building.
Activities include pony rides, pumpkin painting, games and a corn maze.
Families will have to make reservations to go through the maze as part of the various safety precautions in place for the event.
There will be food trucks, and borough officials are expected to be grilling hot dogs and other foods as well.

Libraries are open
• Plum Community Library at 445 Center-New Texas Road is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
Masks must be worn and are available for those who do not have one. Curbside pickup is also available upon request.

• Oakmont Carnegie Library at 700 Allegheny River Blvd. is open for in-person visits by appointment from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays; and Thursdays from 4 to 8 p.m.

Up to five people in a family can browse at the same time.
Browsing time is limited to 30 minutes, and masks are required to enter the building. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Computer usage also is available by appointment during the browsing days from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Computer sessions are limited to 45 minutes, and users must wear masks.
Curbside pickup of materials also is available during browsing times.
