News briefs: School district registration open in Plum, meetings on tap, library pickup service available

Plum School District kindergarten and first grade registration opened Jan. 11.

Kindergarten registration is for children who will be 5 years old by Sept. 1.

Registration is available online at pbsd.net.

Oakmont meetings scheduled

Oakmont council workshop meetings are scheduled for the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the borough building, 767 Fifth St.

Council voting meetings are the third Monday of the month at 7 p.m. at the borough building.

Library open

Oakmont Carnegie Library is open for lobby pickup service from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at 700 Allegheny River Blvd.
