Robert and Philomena (Flotta) Ford of Plum, formerly of Rankin and Swissvale, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 27. They were married at Madonna del Costello Catholic Church in Swissvale in August of 1960.
A blessing and celebration were postponed because of the pandemic.
Robert is a retired school teacher and stays active in volunteer work. Philomena is semi-retired, as she continues to enjoy working part-time.
Their children, Bob and (Carrie) of Tampa, Fla., and Mary Beth of Pittsburgh, look forward to celebrating their parents’ anniversary in the near future.
