Plum’s Monday Market has returned to Plum Creek Park.

The farmer’s market was moved from the park to the borough building parking lot at 4575 New Texas Road due to the flooding of the park across the street.

Vendors noticed a drop in sales as a result of the move.

Event organizer and Plum public relations consultant Carrie DelRosso said the playground and pavilion area was cleared enough to bring the market back to its original location. However, the ballfields are still in disrepair and remain unusable as a result of the July storms.

DelRosso said the market went from four vendors to 14 since its start on July 8.

It is scheduled for 3-7 p.m. every Monday through the end of September, weather permitting.

Those expected to participate include Bridge’s Farm & Greenhouse, Marshall’s Heritage Farm, Park Street Sweets, Morning Glory Farms, Old Tin Roof Farm, Pappy’s Kettlecorn, Carter Apiary, Nolf Woodworking, The Olive Tap, Designs & Becka, Suzi’s Creations, Baked with Love, Tom’s Candy Company, Frankferd Farms and Gary’s Gourmet Produce.

Pittsburgh musician Elias Khouri will perform at the market from 4-6 p.m.

The Monday Market will have food trucks based on availability. More information about the market is available at plumboro.com.
