Plum's Movies in the Park series returns to Larry Mills Park in a pre-pandemic setup
Plum’s Movies in the Park series returns to Larry Mills Park with a retro layout.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to watch “Scoob!” at the park off Fontana Drive on Saturday night.
Gates open at 7 p.m. with the movie to start at dusk.
The movie is a 2020 computer-animated mystery comedy based on Hanna-Barbera’s Scooby-Doo franchise.
It was directed by Tony Cervone and stars Will Forte, Mark Wahlberg, Jason Isaacs, Frank Welker and Gina Rodriguez.
Event organizers said they have changed the layout to its pre-pandemic setting with more lawn space available compared to last year’s drive-in setup.
There will be limited drive-in spaces for those who want to socially distance.
Others can come out of their vehicles and find seating closer to the screen.
Plum Rotary will supply free popcorn. There will be children’s activities and movie trivia prior to the film screening.
Plans are in the works to have another movie night in the park in August.
