Plum police are investigating a crash between a car and a school bus.

Police Chief Jeff Armstrong said the incident occurred Tuesday afternoon along Route 286 between Holiday Park and Presque Isle drives.

He said the driver of the car was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The bus driver was not injured and there were no children on the bus.

Armstrong said witnesses told police the car was traveling east along Route 286, crossed the center lines and struck the bus in the westbound lane. The incident is under investigation.
