Police: 1 person injured in Pittsburgh shooting
Pittsburgh police are investigating a shooting in Spring Hill.
Public Safety spokesman Maurice Matthews said officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert around 2:30 p.m. along the 100 block of Rhine Place.
While officers investigated the scene, a gunshot wound victim walked into a hospital, Matthews reported.
Matthews said the victim was transported by private means.
Police at Rhine Place found evidence of a shooting inside a hallway.
No other injuries were reported, and no suspect description was immediately released. The investigation is ongoing.
