Two men were being treated for stab or knife wounds in the wake of an incident in McKeesport on Tuesday.

Allegheny County Police said the incident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. inside a home in the 3100 block of Garbett Street.

First responders found a 39-year-old man with multiple stab wounds. He was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

Police said a suspect, identified only as a 44-year-old man, was also transported to a hospital in stable condition for knife wounds.

County detectives are working with the district attorney’s office to determine what charges may be filed.

No further details about the incident were immediately released.
