Police: 4 injured in stabbing, assault in Pittsburgh's Allentown neighborhood
Four people were injured in connection with a fight in Pittsburgh’s Allentown neighborhood Thursday, according to public safety officials.
Initial reports indicate that two women stabbed each other, and two men sustained minor head injuries as a result of an altercation inside a home along Excelsior Street around 6:15 p.m.
One of the woman hospitalized in critical condition and the other was in stable condition, Pittsburgh Public Safety spokesman Chris Togneri reported.
Responding officers found both women around the corner from the house on Allen Street.
City police posted an alert about the incident on its Twitter page.
No further information was released.
