Police: Boy, 15, shot in leg in Stowe

A boy was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to his leg on Tuesday evening in connection with incident in Stowe.

Allegheny County Police were dispatched for the shooting shortly before 7:30 p.m. along the 600 block of Federal Street.

First responders found a 15-year-old boy shot in the leg. He was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, according to county police.

No information about possible suspects was released.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the county police tipline at 833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
