Police: Boy shot in hand in McKees Rocks

A boy is recovering at a hospital after being shot in the hand in McKees Rocks.

Allegheny County Police said they were notified of a shooting along Locust Street near McKee Street in the borough shortly after 9:15 p.m. Tuesday.

First responders found the juvenile with a gunshot wound to his hand. He was taken to a hospital for treatment. No further information was released.

Anyone with information about the shooting should call the county police tip line at 833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
