Police: McKees Rocks teen shot multiple times in the borough

A boy was shot multiple times Monday afternoon in McKees Rocks.

Allegheny County police said they were called for the shooting around 2:30 p.m. along the 300 block of Russellwood Avenue.

Police said the victim, a 16 year old from McKees Rocks, sustained multiple non-life threatening injuries as a result of the shooting.

He was taken to a hospital where he is expected to survive, according to county police.

No information about possible suspects has been released.
