Police have charged a McKeesport man with fatally shooting a woman at the Crawford Village public housing apartments in McKeesport.
Robert G. Cox, 50, was charged with criminal homicide, Allegheny County Police said.
McKeesport police were called to the unit block of Crawford Village just after 5 a.m. Saturday morning and found Tammy Cox, 51, of McKeesport, with a gunshot wound.
Cox was taken to an area hospital where she later died.
Robert Cox is awaiting a preliminary hearing, according to court records.
