Pittsburgh police are investigating after a man showed up to a hospital with a gunshot wound Thursday afternoon.

Public Safety spokeswoman Amanda Mueller said a man who was shot walked into a hospital shortly before 5 p.m.

The man was listed in stable condition.

Officers were dispatched to the 6300 block of St. Marie Street for a shots fired call about 20 minutes prior to the man showing up.

Mueller said police arrived, located a crime scene but found no victims or suspects. The two incidents are believed to possibly be connected, Mueller said.

Anyone with information about the incident should contact Pittsburgh police at 412-323-7800.
