A man was transported to a local hospital in stable condition following a shooting in Point Breeze Tuesday, Pittsburgh police said.
Officers and medics responded to the 7300 block of Penn Avenue around 12:20 p.m.. On scene, officers found a man with a gunshot wound to the upper thigh. Police said he was conscious and alert.
Officers applied a tourniquet to the injury and EMS officials transported him to the hospital.
At this time officers do not have any suspect descriptions. Police are investigating the incident.
