Two male victims are in stable condition after being shot on Mt. Washington on Friday night, according to Pittsburgh police.

Responding just after 8 p.m. to a report of possible gunshot victims, officers found the pair inside a vehicle in the 300 block of Birmingham Avenue in Carrick. Police said there were bullet holes in the car and one of its windows was shot out.

Emergency medical crews took the victims to a hospital after police applied a tourniquet to an arm wound suffered by one of them. The other victim had a graze wound, police said.

The pair told police they’d been shot in the 400 block of Meridan Street near Olympia Park on Mt. Washington.

Police found evidence of a crime scene at that location and are investigating.
