Police seek armed, masked carjackers who stole Jaguar in Scott
Authorities are looking for four men who they say carjacked a Jaguar at gunpoint Thursday afternoon outside a Scott shopping center.
The men, all of whom were wearing masks, drove at least one vehicle, a white and black Dodge Durango, to a traffic light near the Greentree Shopping Center on Greentree Road around 1:20 p.m, Scott police said.
A silver Jaguar sedan, with New York plates, was waiting at the light, police said. The suspects ordered the driver at gunpoint to get out of the vehicle, which they did. The four men then drove away.
The driver, who authorities have not named, was not injured, police said.
Scott police posted witnesses’ pictures of the carjacking to their Facebook page.
Police said they have no additional descriptions of the suspects. They declined Thursday afternoon to make additional comment.
Anyone with information can call Scott police at 412-276-7725.
