Pittsburgh police are looking for a man who they say robbed a store while wielding a gun late Monday night in Pittsburgh’s Middle Hill neighborhood, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety.

Officers were dispatched around 11:45 p.m. to the 2200 block of Centre Avenue for reports of a man who held a store employee at gunpoint and stole about $200 in cash and several vapes, according to police.

The employee was not injured, police said.

The suspect fled the scene on foot, carrying a backpack, according to police, who briefly pursued the man on foot but lost sight of him. Police used a drone and a dog team to search for the man. He was not found, according to police.

Pittsburgh police are investigating.
