Ross police are investigating after a woman’s body was found in a wooded area of the township Friday afternoon.

News partners WPXI reported children walking home from school near a bus stop discovered the body of a woman in her 20’s.

Investigators responded to the intersection of Seventh Street and Sixth Avenue near North Hills High School.

Police said no foul play is suspected, and likely cause of death was an overdose.

The woman’s name has not yet been released.
