A Butler man died from injuries suffered in a crash Sunday in northwestern Butler County, according to state police.

Authorities identified the man as 18-year-old Cole Wilson.

The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. at Route 108 and the northbound ramp of Interstate 79 in Worth Township, authorities said.

State police said a vehicle driven by Cole entered the intersection without stopping at a stop sign and was struck on the driver’s side by an SUV driven by Robert Richardson, 34, of Bessemer.

Both were wearing seat belts. State police did not say if Richardson was hurt.

Cole was taken to Grove City Medical Center in neighboring Mercer County and pronounced dead at 5:22 p.m., according to the Mercer County Coroner’s Office. The office ruled the death accidental.
