Two Pittsburgh-area men were indicted Monday on charges of robbing a PNC Bank in Washington last fall, according to the FBI.

Anthony West, 28, formerly of McKees Rocks, and Brandin Gardner, 25, of Pittsburgh’s Beltzhoover neighborhood, were indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.

FBI officials said the two men began planning the robbery on Sept. 12, 2021, and executed it on Sept. 16 at the PNC Bank on Washington Road.

Both men face up to 20 years in prison and fines.
