25-year-old man dies after being shot at friend's home in Canonsburg, coroner says

A 25-year-old man died after he was shot at a friend’s home in Canonsburg Saturday night, the Washington County Coroner’s Office said.

Brady Hugh Paul, of Canonsburg, was shot at a residence in the 500 block of Griffin Avenue.

Paul’s friend, who was not identified, sought help from a neighbor, who called 911 at 11:40 p.m.

No details about the circumstances of the shooting were provided.

Paul was pronounced dead at the Griffin Avenue residence shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday, the coroner’s office said.

The cause of Paul’s death was pending an autopsy, and the manner of his death was pending investigation, the coroner’s office said.

Canonsburg Police were investigating.
