Ambridge man electrocuted at pipe plant

A man shocked at an Ambridge pipe plant Wednesday has died.

Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the deceased as David Bupp, 46, of Ambridge.

Authorities said the electrical worker came into contact with an electrical current along the 2000 block of Duss Avenue around 11:15 a.m.

He was transported to Heritage Valley Sewickley where he died. Ambridge police are investigating.
