A Blairsville man is charged with felony corruption of minors and related misdemeanors after police said he exposed himself and attempted sexual contact with children.

William C. Rodkey, 68, also is charged with corruption of minors, indecent assault of a person less than 13 years old, and indecent exposure.

In May, state police were investigating a child welfare report about possible incidents of sexual assault of three young girls. During interviews, police determined that incidents involving Rodkey began in 2009 and that the girls were 10 years old or younger at the time.

Police said Rodkey exposed himself or initiated indecent contact, according to interviews with the girls.

Police asked anyone with additional information to call 724-357-1960.

Rodkey is scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 9:45 a.m., Aug. 10 in District Judge Robert Steele Bell’s Blairsville court. His bail has been set at $50,000.

An attorney for Rodkey could not be reached for comment.
