Firefighters in Brownsville, Fayette County, spent hours early Monday morning extinguishing a blaze in a building under renovation.

The fire started around 2 a.m., according to Fayette County 911.

Firefighters told Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV that the fire started because of an electrical problem.

The building was undergoing renovation, with plans to turn it into a pizza shop.

The building suffered smoke and water damage, WPXI reported.

Nobody was hurt.
