State police have identified the three people killed after a head-on crash Monday in Hovey Township, just north of Parker in Armstrong County.

They are Holly Tweed, 37, of Butler; Lindsay Scott, 24, of Bruin; and Jason Redenbach, 39, of Butler. None were wearing a seat belt, according to police.

Coroner Brian Myers said a sedan traveling north near Route 368 and a truck heading southbound struck each other around 4:50 p.m.

Tweed was driving the sedan. Scott and Redenbach were passengers in the car.

The driver of the truck, Ronald Stockdill, 50, of Sligo, was transported to a trauma center via medical helicopter, Myers said.

The crash happened on North River Avenue, just north of Route 368.

According to police, Stockdill lost control of his vehicle and crossed the center line, striking the front end of Tweed’s car.

State police from Butler barracks are investigating.
