A man and woman were killed early Wednesday morning in a one-car crash east of Brownstville, the Fayette County Coroner said.

Both Jamal Ryan, 22, and Julie Ann Olsen, 25, who were traveling in the car, were dead at the scene, said Dr. Phillip Reilly, Fayette coroner. Reilly said his office did not have addresses for the two victims, both of whom died of blunt force trauma.

The two victims and two others inside the vehicle, were ejected from the car, which rolled down an embankment along Redstone Way in Redstone Township. The road connects Route 40 with Route 43, the Mon-Fayette Expressway, Reilly said.

It did not appear that the occupants of the car were wearing seat belts, Reilly said.

The accident, which closed the road between Grindstone and Colvin Run Road, occurred about 4:30 a.m., according to a Fayette County 911 supervisor.

The two other occupants suffered serious injuries. They were transported to Uniontown Hospital before being taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., Reilly said. The coroner did not know the names of those injured.

State police at Uniontown investigated the crash, but no information was available from police as of Wednesday night.
