Eat’n Park has added a new treat to its summer menu: a strawberry Smiley Cookie.
The new, limited-edition flavor features pink strawberry icing and the cookie’s signature hand-iced grin. Strawberry Smiley Cookies are available now and throughout the summer months at all Eat’n Park restaurants.
For decades, the restaurant has celebrated the “Merry Berry Month of May,” coinciding with the start of strawberry season. The new strawberry Smiley Cookie also honors two of Eat’n Park’s signature desserts.
The Smiley Cookie is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year — created in 1986 by former Eat’n Park CEO James Broadhurst, who modeled it after a treat he enjoyed as a child at Warner’s Bakery in Titusville, Pa.
The Smiley Cookie was recently voted the 2026 “Coolest Thing Made in PA,” a bracket-style contest organized by the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry.
The new Smiley Cookie’s strawberry flavor also pays homage to Eat’n Park’s strawberry pie, which celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2024. The menu staple, created in a Scott Township kitchen by Claire Moore, features fresh strawberries and a signature glaze.
“There’s no better way to celebrate than with a brand-new cookie that pays homage to our Strawberry Pie and some of our other most celebrated menu items,” said Amanda Giacobbi, senior director of restaurant marketing at Eat’n Park Hospitality Group, in a news release.
Other Merry Berry Month of May specials include a strawberry milkshake, strawberry waffle and strawberry shortcake, featuring two slices of pound cake topped with strawberries, a scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped topping.
Eat’n Park guests can pick up a single ($1.99) or a dozen Strawberry Smiley Cookies ($12.99) at their local Eat’n Park or order a 12-pack online ($20.99) from SmileyCookie.com, which ships nationwide.
