Excela medical officer, Sen. Casey to take part in coronavirus 'tele-town hall'

Sen. Bob Casey will host a discussion with Western Pennsylvania residents about the coronavirus pandemic on Wednesday , in the first of a series of “tele-town halls” planned across the state.

The 6 p.m. event is targeted for residents of Allegheny, Armstrong, Westmoreland, Greene, Fayette, Washington, Beaver, Lawrence, Butler, Indiana, Clarion, Venango, Forest, Erie, Crawford, Mercer, Warren, McKean and Potter counties.

Dr. Carol Fox, chief medical officer of Excela Health, will be featured in the discussion, which will address steps that are being taken to mitigate the public health and economic effects of the pandemic.

Residents of the listed counties can visit casey.senate.gov/teletownhall to sign up to participate in the town hall.
