4 killed in Beaver County crash

Four people were killed and one was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Beaver County, according to Harmony Police.

The crash on Route 65 in Baden near the intersection with Merchant Street happened just before 11 p.m. Sunday.

One of the vehicles, a Jeep, was driving the wrong way in the southbound lane and crashed into an oncoming car, according to police.

The woman driving the Jeep was killed.

Two men and two women were in the other car. Three were killed. One woman taken to a hospital.

Police and the Beaver County coroner’s office are working to contact the family of the four people who were killed, police said. The victims’ identities will be released when their family has been notified.

Route 65 was closed until after 5 a.m. Monday.

State police and Harmony police are investigating.
