A girl was rescued Sunday after falling over a cliff in Beaver County.

County dispatchers said a rescue call came in around 5:10 p.m. from Buttermilk Falls Park along First Avenue in Homewood Borough.

State police and Beaver County Sheriff deputies were on scene, and emergency responders were able to successfully rescue the girl, dispatchers said.

She was taken to a hospital for evaluation. It’s unclear what, if any, injuries were sustained or her condition.
