Turner Dairy Farms said it expects its new hard lemonade to sell out quickly, much like the early batches of its other collaboration with Pittsburgh Brewing Co., IC’d Tea.

A year after launching IC’d Tea, Turner Dairy Farms and Pittsburgh Brewing Co. are back with another twist on a Pittsburgh favorite.

Turner’s Hard Lemonade will hit shelves Monday, July 8 as a limited-edition offering from the iconic local brands. A release from Turner’s describes the beverage as a balance between the crisp sweetness of Turner’s lemonade and the classic taste of Iron City Beer.

Customers wiped out beer distributors when IC’d Tea became available, and Turner’s, based in Penn Hills, also expects this latest product to sell out.

“Turner’s Lemonade has been a beloved part of Pittsburgh’s culture for over 50 years,” said Steve Turner, vice president of sales and marketing for Turner’s. “We anticipate this limited release will be a huge hit and look forward to bringing Turner’s Hard Lemonade back permanently in 2025.”

Rachel Semelbauer, spokeswoman for Pittsburgh Brewing Co., said the East Deer brewery is looking forward to the “buzz” created by the new beverage.

“Turner’s has been such a great partner over the years, and we are excited to introduce another product alongside the IC’d Tea that we collaborated on with them last year,” Semelbauer said.

Turner’s Hard Lemonade will be available wherever Iron City Beer is sold.
