A Beaver County woman faces criminal charges after police say she strangled her 4-month-old son and suffocated her 2-year-old son.

Quanesha Lindsey, 27, of Harmony Township faces homicide, strangulation and abuse of a corpse in connection to the deaths of her two young children, according to TribLive news partner WTAE.

Court documents say police were dispatched Saturday evening to the 1100 block of Eighth Street for a report of a 4-month-old not breathing, WTAE reported. Police found a man doing CPR on the infant. The child died at the house.

Police say that when they questioned Lindsey, she admitted to strangling the 4-month-old to death and demonstrated how she did so on a manikin, according to WTAE. Lindsey also told police she attempted CPR several times when she realized the infant was not breathing.

Lindsey also admitted to police to suffocating her 2-year-old son about six weeks ago, WTAE reported.

Lindsey is being held without bond in the Beaver County Jail.
