An Indiana County man was killed in a one-vehicle crash in West Wheatfield Township early Saturday, according to state police.

Daniel J. Rodkey, 28, of Indiana, died after being ejected from a car at the intersection of Ofman and Shellbark roads.

State police said the driver of a Tesla Model 3, a 24-year-old Seward man, ran a stop sign at the intersection at 3 a.m., hit a large rock and struck several trees. During the crash, Rodkey, who was a passenger, was ejected and the vehicle came to rest on top of him, police said.

Troopers did not identify the driver in a news release, but said he was taken by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment.
