'Love Is Blind' TV show casting in Philly
The popular Netflix reality TV show “Love Is Blind” is coming to Pennsylvania — but not to Pittsburgh.
Philadelphia is one of five new cities on the docket for casting.
The show, which premiered in 2020, is described by Netflix as a “social experiment.” The show gathers single men and women looking for love. Over 10 days they talk to each other over audio in “pods,” without seeing each other. After someone accepts a marriage proposal, the couple meets in person for the first time.
Kinetic Content Casting posted the news on its Instagram page. Interested singles can apply on libcasting.com.
“Tell your friends, family and loved ones who are ready to take the ultimate leap of faith to apply at the link in our BIO!” the post reads.
The casting company is searching for single men and women “who are brave, open-minded and ready for a committed relationship,” according to the casting call.
The other cities open for casting include:
- Austin, Texas
- St. Louis, Missouri
- New Orleans, Louisiana
- Charleston, South Carolina
All contestants must be at least 21 years old and legal residents of the U.S.
