A 26-year-old man died Sunday afternoon when his motorcycle collided with a vehicle in Summit Township, Butler County, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

At 1:20 p.m. Sunday, a woman was driving a 2013 Ford Fusion west on Route 422 in the left lane and began to turn left on Geibel Road, troopers said.

As the car was turning left, it hit Murphy J. Ryan, 26, of Niagara Falls, N.Y., who was driving his Suzuki east on Route 422, police said.

Ryan died at the scene, police said. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital for a “suspected minor injury,” police said.

Police continue to investigate. Charges are pending on the outcome of the investigation, police said.
