Fire crews responded to a house fire on Beaver Street in Ambridge on Thursday.

Here are some of the latest news items from this morning, Friday, May 23:

Ambridge house fire displaces, injures 7

Five people were taken to the hospital and two more were treated at the scene of a Beaver County house fire late Thursday night.

TribLive news partner WTAE reported that first responders were called to the 600 block of Beaver Road around 10:30 p.m.

Red Cross officials were called to assist residents at the scene, WTAE reported.

Cybertruck appears to be struck by bullet in Penn Hills

WTAE Penn Hills Police investigate a Tesla Cybertruck that appeared to sustain a bullet hole on Friday along Frankstown Road.  

Penn Hills Police are investigating an incident in which a Tesla Cybertruck appears to have been struck by a bullet, according to TribLive news partner WTAE.

Police were at the scene around 3 a.m. Friday morning, near the GetGo along Frankstown Road.

Information was not immediately available about whether there were any injuries.

8 injured in limo crash

Eight people were taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon after a pickup crashed into a limousine in Beaver County.

First responders were called to Route 51 in Darlington after the driver of a pickup tried to make a left from East Palestine Road onto Route 51 and crossed into the path of the limousine, according to TribLive news partner WTAE.
