Oakdale man killed in Washington County motorcycle wreck

An Oakdale man was killed in a Friday night motorcycle crash in Washington County.

Adam Clifford Barbarow, 41, was riding alone on the bike, heading north on Old Steubenville Pike when it crossed the center line and crashed into a guide rail near Candor Road, in Robinson Township, according to the Washington County Coroner’s Office.

The wreck happened before 9:16 p.m., when a passing motorist reported it to 911. Barbarow, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene at about 10:40 p.m.

A ruling on the manner and cause of death is pending.

McDonald Police Department is investigating.

Fort Cherry Ambulance and the McDonald and Midway fire departments assisted at the scene.
