A Washington County man is dead after a Wednesday afternoon motorcycle crash in Cross Creek Township, according to the Washington County Coroner’s Office.
David Copeland, 64, of McMurray lost control of his three-wheel motorcycle after hitting a tree that had fallen onto Avella Road around 3:15 p.m., according to the coroner’s report.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The state police are investigating.
