Indiana Borough Police said one person suffered a minor injury Tuesday when a firearm accidentally discharged inside an apartment.
Police said the shooting occurred at 7:10 a.m. in an apartment on the 900 block of Fleming Avenue. The identity of the resident who suffered a “minor” injury and was treated by ambulance personnel at the scene was not disclosed.
Police said the injured person mishandled the handgun.
The investigation is ongoing.
